Re: [pci] PCI interface of FPGA to SUN Sparc workstation

thanks for your follow up.
I have one more doubt , If I were to develop the interface myself 
,should I know about the SUN OS architecture and do assembly language
progg from the SUN side followed by  VHDL progg from  the FPGA side so
that they interact through the PCI pin signals or  protocol.

Do you happen to know of any free PCI cores ,which i  can use as a
starting point.If so kindly do let me know .

As  for the other paid option would XILINX /ALTera  provide cores and
support for them too through development software for interfacing
through interrupts the SUN workstation and  the FPGA,or do I have to
develop my own software for that.
