RE: [ecc] reed solomon



Sir,

There are some things which I need clarified (using the Forney Algorithm),
and it would really be great if you can help me with this :

1. when you perform [1 + S(x)]L(x), this will give you a polynomial of
degree 2t^2, when you do mod^(2t + 1), is this just a matter of eliminating
all polynomials with coefficients greater than or equal to (2t + 1)?
2. what is the significance of the negative sign in computing the magnitude
using the formula :
	e = -Xk Omega
	    Lambda prime

I've finished designing the error locations block, and it works fine.
However, I can't seem to make the error magnitudes block work.

CODEC. I've implemented it using the Chien Search & Forney Algorithm.
