('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) So what's wrong with a little bit of a passionate discussion???
It does after all tend to always reaffirm the "stand alone" nature of the "base" disk, and the continuation of that principle.

I myself, although I cannot and will not downgrade the value of the addons, usually use only the base disk when using muLinux in a non intrusive manner.
Virtually all the tools I need are there plus there's all those cool
"scriptic micro-apps".
And I think it would be a shame if that in itself were ever to change.
But then again...............I don't think it ever will*grin*
