How to use the Tropentag 2001 CD-Rom

The Tropentag 2001 CD offers the possibility to view or print presentations, abstracts, or contact details, and allows for full text key word searches.
The files on the CD are stored in "Portable Document Format" (pdf). To make use of these files you need to use "Acrobat Reader 4.0", a software available on the TropenTag 2001 CD. 

The following system requirements are essential:
· i486 porocessor or better
· MS Windows 95 or later
· 8 Mb RAM or more (16 or more for Windows NT)
· 10 Mb available harddisk space

To install the Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0
· uninstall Acrobat Version 3.x if installed using the uninstall option in Windows.
· Install Acrobat Reader 4.0 from the CD-ROM: open Windows Explorer, 
  choose CD-ROM, open the directory "reader" on the CD and 
  start either rs405eng.exe for the English version or 
  rs405deu.exe for the German version.
· Click on "start.pdf" on the Tropentag 2001 CD after installation 
  of the Acrobat Reader 4.0

Use the buttons in the Start menu to navigate the CD.
