GraphicsGems - Source code from the books "Graphics Gems I & II"
(GraphicsGems/GemsI and GraphicsGems/GemsII)
atomart.tar.gz - Raytracer that does nothing but spheres and planes
book.Z - The Issac (nee Robert) Nathanual Zebede Stanlislaws Predergast
joke book.
chess20.tar.gz - Chess pieces in OFF format - these are better quality than
the ones in vort.
images/* - Some images produced by the VORT raytracer (Sun rasterfile
format)
images/ppm/* - Some 24bit ppm images produced mainly by the VORT raytracer,
and some classics like lenna and mandril.
images/haines/* - Erich Haines' Pictures (from his MS and SPD)
movies/* - Some movies produced by the VORT raytracer (VORT 8-bit
colourmapped format)
contrib/* - various thing that have been sent to us. At the moment this
mainly consists of input files (scenes, geometry files,
tilepatterns, and a whole lot of usefull furniture items)
for art (the VORT raytracer) - see the subdirectory artscenes.
If you grab VORT this is a must get.
nff/* - Eric Haines NFF and SPD stuff plus some nff files in the
directory nff/nff_files
SPD.3.0.shar.Z - Eric Haines NFF and SPD .......
nff2art1.0.c - Convert NFF files to (old art) art 1.0 input files

voglew.zip - Vogle compiled for windoze. (BC++ 2.0)
vogl.tar.gz - A device independent 3D graphics library based on VOGLE that
tries to be a subset of SGI-GL. If you write programs using
VOGL then they should work unchanged on an SGI.

vopl.tar.gz - A graph plotting library and program using vogle (only 2D yet)
vopl_patch.1 - A patch to gpp to stop it barfing when it finds blank lines
at the end of the file.
vopl_patch.2 - Fix to the above fix.
vvopl.tar.gz - An Iris GL version of vopl.
vort.tar.gz - The whole lot of what is in the vort directory above.
This is the *most* up to date version, the patches do not
need to be applied.
gzip-1.2.4.tar - the source for gzip, which uncompresses the .gz files.
ArtForTheMac.sea.Hqx - Macintosh version of art with display program, beta
release.
ArtForTheMac.README - README information on the above.
oldvort.tar.gz - the old version of the above.
offfile.ftpsites - ftp sites with off files useful in vort.
vorttoppm.c - Converts VORT files to ppm files (doesn't need pbmplus)
ppmtovort.c - Converts ppm files to VORT files (doesn't need pbmplus)

simplex.c - A simple X11 'hello, world' program (origin unknown)
athena/eBones-p9.tar.gz - Eric's (Bond Uni) version of MIT's Kerberos/bones

Runs with VOGL or SGI-GL.
libRT.tar.gz - a ray tracing library with a parser for the NFF grammer.
Has several different acceleration techniques in it and
should be relatively simple to add more, useful for people
investigating ray tracing...
seattle.txt - the text of a letter sent by the American Indian Chief,
Seattle, to the president of the United States, in 1854.
