Welcome to Arena

This directory contains the binary, public distribution of Arena
beta-1. For more information on HTML3 and Arena, see [1]

If gunzip reports an error when decompressing files you have fetched
here, you don't have the whole file.

Binaries for HP machines are labeled "snake". The one provides is
dynamic -- let us know if you have problems with it.

Solaris binaries go under their SunOS names,
i.e. arena-sun4-solaris-2.4.bin.gz is the binary for Solaris 2.4 on a sun4.

Binaries for SunOS 4 come in two versions: linked with the "resolv"
library or not. Try the other if one doesn't work for you. Should we
provide dynamically linked SunOS 4 binaries?

"rs6000" is IBM's architecture.

This release is based on the upcoming 3.1 version of libwww.

I'm interested in seeing sample style sheets -- send me the URL of
your favorite.

For a release history, see [2]

Many people have helped us with Arena -- see the thank-you page at
http://www.w3.org/hypertext/WWW/Arena/thanks.html

This is a prerelease of Arena. The binaries have bugs and
shortcomings. Take care, have fun!
