[openrisc] long standing gcc bug

aloha;

with all my luck i managed to stumble on (as it turns out) quite
an old gcc bug already fixed in Red Hat gcc-2.96 series but obviously it
didn't get into gcc-3.1.

if there are no objections i'd like to aply it opencores or1k gcc asap.
