Hi,
Can anyone comment about
the performance of the AES core in opencores.org .
The document attached says it
takes only 12 clock cycles for encrypt and decrypt. All commercial IP cores
(Actel, Cast) uses 40-44 clocks for a similar
implementation. .
It seems like this free
implementation uses fully asynchronous blocks. Is it safe to use asynchronous
logic for the implementation....
