This directory contains some papers about daVinci.

  - daVinci_V2.1_doc_in_ps.ps.gz (600 KB, expanded: 31 MB, 225 pages)
  	is a tar file with a PostScript version of the whole daVinci V2.1 
  	online documentation for printing on PostScript printers. 
  	WARNING: The HTML online documentation is written as a hypertext. 
  	For example terms are not defined at first occurance, they are 
  	hyperlinks to the place where the term is described in detail. So 
  	it is very difficult and inconvenient to read this text in a linear 
  	manner on paper. It is strongly recommended to read it online with 
  	a WWW browser such as Netscape Navigator!

  - fro97.ps.gz (2.3 MB)
    	PhD thesis of Michael Froehlich: "Inkrementelles Graphlayout im
    	Visualisierungssystem daVinci". As the title suggests, it is in
    	german language.
    	
  - lncs.ps.gz (37kb, 4 pages)
    	is the paper "Demonstration of the interactive Graph Visualization
    	System daVinci" presented at Graph Drawing '95 in Princeton and
    	published in Springer LNCS 894. The paper describes the obsolete
    	release daVinci V1.4.
    	
  - techrep0594.ps.gz (63kB, 13 pages)
  	is an overview article "The Graph Visualization System daVinci - 
  	A User Interface for Applications" published as technical report
  	05/94 by Computer Science Departement, Bremen University. The paper 
  	describes the obsolete release daVinci V1.4.
