Thank you for downloading Bad Desktop for SEAL 2.0! This is a SEAL 2.0 port of
the old Bad Desktop supplied with Bad Seal and more recently, Absolute SEAL. There
have also been various updates and enhancements for SEAL 2.0.

This program requires SEAL 2.00.11 or later. This software is licensed under the
GNU General Public License.

Installing Bad Desktop
----------------------

To install Bad Desktop, type the following at the command prompt:

INSTALL seal_drive: seal_path

'seal_drive' is the drive SEAL is located on (make sure you include a colon).
'seal_path' is the path to your SEAL 2.00.11 or higher directory. You MUST
NOT include a trailing slash! The following are valid commands:

    INSTALL C: C:\SEAL2\BIN
    INSTALL D: D:\SEAL
    INSTALL F: F:

The following are INVALID commands:

    INSTALL C: C:\SEAL2\BIN\
    INSTALL D: D:\SEAL\
    INSTALL F: F:\

This will copy all the files to your SEAL directory and set up the required
registry entries.

Changing the taskbar position
-----------------------------

With Bad Desktop, you can either have two taskbars, or one. If you choose to
have two, buttons for running programs will appear in the top taskbar, and
the Seal button and system tray will appear in the bottom taskbar. If you
choose to have just one taskbar, everything will appear in it, which is
placed at the bottom.

At the moment, you have to edit the registry manually to change the taskbar
position. The key to change is:

   CURRENT/SEAL/OPTICAL/TASKBAR_ALONE

If this is set to 1, you will have two taskbars. If this is 0, you will
only have 1.
