How can I send email with a WAP device?
 |
In order to send an email select the link z: Mail
schreiben/z: write mail from the navigation menu. This
induces Zwap to transfer a list of email aliases to your WAP
device if you have defined email aliases by the HTML
interface. Read the configuration description
to see how you can edit/define email aliases. If you do not
define email aliases you can also enter conventional email
addresses into the WML interface. Note that entering long
email addresses with the non sophisticated entering
possibilities of a mobile is not comfortable.
|
 |
An email alias represents an email address you have
preconfigured by using the HTML interface of Zwap. See also
the section Edit Mail
Aliases of the configuration description. Preconfiguring
email aliases avoids entering long email addresses with the
non sophisticated input possibilities of mobiles. If you do
not want to use an email alias, there is also a possibility to
enter a normal email address.
|
 |
After selecting an email alias Zwap presents a list of (we
call) InstanTexts. An InstanText is an alias for a
preconfigured email subject and email text. See also the
section Edit InstanText
of the configuration description. If you do not want to use an
InstanTexts, there is also a possibility to enter a non
preconfigured email subject and test.
|
 |
After selecting an InstanText Zwap presents the subject and
the text of a preconfigured email or an empty subject and
text field if you selected the free entry link instead of an
InstanText.
|
 |
You can edit the subject- and text-field of the preconfigured
email. In the example only the appointed time of a meeting has to
be filled.
|
 |
As you see InstanTexts also avoid entering of long subject
texts and email texts.
|
 |
Finally you can send the email be selecting the link z:
Mail absenden/z: send mail.
