After login the configuration menu is presented. The configuration menu provides the following configuration areas:
In order to define an InstanText press the button new. Enter an
InstanText alias in the field TextName. This InstanText alias
will be presented to you by the WAP device if you want to write an
email. The alias name will be used as the subject of an email. Enter
in the field Text the content of an email you probably want to
send in the future. Examples are often recurring emails such as
arranging a meeting or brokerage emails. Press the button save
to store your InstanText. You can edit an InstanText by selecting the
corresponding radio button and the edit button. Select the
radio button of an InstanText and the delete button to remove an
InstanText.
Edit Mail Aliases
An email alias represents an email address you can select by means of
a WAP device. Email aliases also avoid entering long email
addresses. See also the section How do
I send email with a WAP device? of the WAP access description.
In order to define an email alias press the button new. Enter
an email alias in the field MailAlias. This email alias will be
presented to you by the WAP device if you want to write an email. The
alias name will be used for the To: field of an email. Enter an
email address in the field Address you probably want to use in
the future. Examples are email addresses of friends or business
partners. Multiple email addresses are supported. Enter in the address
field several email addresses delimited by a blank space to send an
email to a group. An example is an email alias group of business
partners. Press the button save to store your email alias. You
can edit an email alias by selecting the corresponding radio button
and the edit button. Select the radio button of an email alias
and the delete button to remove an email alias.
Edit Mail Filters
Zwap supports filtering of email to make sure that only the email is
transfered to your mobile, which you feel is important for you
on the way. See also the WAP access description item How do I (de-)activate a filter type?
with a WAP device.
Activating the filter could save you much money, because it avoids long mobile online time. There are three filter modes: none/keiner, reject/abweisen, accept/annemhen. You can define one mode as the Default Mail Filter Type (see also the registration data description). If you select "none" all email is displayed. If you select "reject" all email is displayed excluding the email which fits to the reject filters you have defined. If you select "accept" by default non email is display. You can define a filter to point out which email will be accepted for displaying on a WAP device.
In order to define an email filter press the button new. You
can define a Target on which a filter should work. Possible
targets are the email headers From, Subject, To, Date, or
Resent-From. Enter in the field FilterAlias a filter
name and in the field Filter a filter pattern. Configure if a
filter should work with the reject/abweisen or accept/annehmen filter
mode. At least you can define if a filter entry for a certain filter
mode should be active or not. Press the button save to store
your filter. You can edit a filter entry by selecting the
corresponding radio button and the edit button. Select the
radio button of an filter entry and the delete button to remove a
certain filter.
Edit Mail Signature
Zwap supports email signatures. An email signature will be attached to
every email you send via Zwap. In order to define an email signature
press the button new and fill in the entry field Signature
text. You can edit and delete an email signature you have defined
by selecting the corresponding buttons.
Logoff
In order to quit the Zwap configuration select the link Logoff from
the configuration menu.
Delete Account
In order to delete your account select the link Delete
account. (Be careful: Zwap asks not "Do you really want to delete
your account" ;-)
