This directory contains patches for the Linux/68k kernel, as collected by me from the linux-m68k@lists.linux-m68k.org mailing list. I basically just save all mails that contain a patch, so you eventually also see comments by the author in the file. Nevertheless the files should be directly feedable into 'patch'. (patch can ignore stuff around the diff itself.) If a mail contains uuencoded data (patches or tar files), a script modifies them so that the file in the archive contains the patch directly, to make it easier to feed it into 'patch'. tar files are extracted and go as separate files. The date of all files corresponds to the Date: header of the mail (with timezone correction to local time of ftp.uni-erlangen.de). This way you can use 'll -tr' to list the patches in order of their posting, which most of the time is the appropriate order to apply them. No guarantuee for correctness and completeness :-) Roman
