This is really embarrassing, but I seem unable to make it past the
first step!
I have copied the relevant tools on to my aging laptop and done an
install on the UMDOS partition there. I then cd /linux and run the
linux.bat program and everything at first appears okay. But, I get
prompted each time for the X11 addon -- which I have not provided and
don't need.
Worse the PCMCIA network card doesn't work, so I go in to setup and
configure it. Every works fine from then on, but when I reboot, I seem
to go back though the whole process again...
I guess I'm repeatedly setting up the system. I have tried "setup -s
lock" and other names to no avail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
