Ops! The iPAQ run linux in many flavor: I've (on the same compact-flash)

1) PocketLinux (Java Gui based on Kaffe)
2) Familiar 5.0 ( standard Linux 2.4.* with X-Window)
3) QT Embedded
4) GTK+

I cross-compiled your e3c (C version) for the iPAQ time ago, but something was
not perfectly functional.

I need e3 on the iPaq in order to develop in it, connecting a linux
console via SSH. So, if you can, keep intact the possibility to use E3
on the standard Linux console!

Can you send me the object+source? ( the .ipk is also ok).

Uhm ... since you are a such expert ASM developer, why to not experiment
on the linux framebuffer via assembler? The interface with /dev/fb0 is not
excessively complex: an open() and a couple of ioctl() on the file handle.

Example: a little screensaver in assembler, using the framebuffer.
