I've found a log message to myself that my XSVGA X server, version
3.3.3.1, came from the Purdue site that I mentioned,
http://csociety-ftp.ecn.purdue.edu/pub/XFree86/3.3.3/binaries/Linux-ix86-libc5/Servers/
. (I'm not always that well organised.)

Also, I've looked at the message it gives when it starts up, and the
ct65525 chip is specifically mentioned, so it might work for you. You
could also try the XMono one in the same directory, which is smaller -
815k vs 1.3M.
