Thanks, Alfie. I've found http://www.seniorglobe.com, which claims to
be run by and for old people like me, and only costs $10/month, and I
think I'll try it unless someone wants to warn me off. They have a
local dialup number on the Qwest network. I'll keep Galaxy in reserve
if they don't work out. I see that Galaxy gives you a unix shell
account.
