Why not just rebuild the base floppy to your own liking???*grin*
I'm sure you can find enough files on the base floppy that you won't use to allow you to squeeze Lilo and a tiny text editor in.
In the base E3 distributable there's an E3 that's only 6k :)
The whole reason why I even started on that project that I'm working on was to allow me (and others) an option for an ext2 install while only using the base floppy.......Besides a Linux ext2 install that uses less than 4 megs of HD space is kinda' cool
