No, no, no!! You all misunderstand! [was Re: To trash the FAQ?]

Oh, PLEASE!! Michele's ***entire*** quote is out of context. Did he
mention the positives??? Well? WELL?? Did he mention that I edited the FAQ
a couple of times? Did he? DID HE??

Not only did I do something about the FAQ, I also suggested ways to make
it easier for him. ***BUT*** he wouldn't even entertain the thought,
according to the email I got from him. After 1 or 2 emails, I wrote what
you see. I wrote it at the end of the email too. It looks bad in the
correct context, but it even looks worse when it is cut and pasted.

Prove it! PROVE IT!!! ***PROVE*** that I never tried to install it on my
486 in my bedroom. Well? WELL??!? I'm waiting.

I'm glad to hear that, but the quality of the software isn't the issue
here. The issue is the FAQ, which is difficult to search through.

The fact of the matter is that even though I tried to help, he didn't
accept my work or suggestions on how to make it easier for everybody.

I'll agree with that--not everybody has to use it, but it would be neat if
everybody did.

> You are, as always, the only person knowing what is good for mulinux !

No. Do you ever notice that I hardly send mail to the list? The reason for
it is because I'm one of the many people who *don't* know what is best for
muLinux. Don't you think? Aren't you being a bit presumptous? You didn't
even hear my opinions or my side of the argument. You didn't even hear
what Michele said to me off-list.

I'll agree with you on that one, *now*. Unfortunately, I tend to get
excited when I see a good thing and forget that sometimes people just do
things for fun. For example, Michele created muLinux for fun, as he told
me off-list. *But* I'm more than aware of that, *after* corresponding with
him off-list.

I don't understand what you're saying. If you feel it's significant, then
I'd strongly encourage you to rephrase it.

I don't know what a traduction is, but the point about English not being
his first language was my way of saying, "If you don't want to take care
of the FAQ, then fine. Just let somebody else do it.". *He* said himself
that if the FAQ were in Italian, then he would be able to write a good
quality one because he is a proffessional writer. I believe him, but
somehow I get the impression that he is still trying to maintain complete
control of the FAQ sources. That makes it difficult contribute--not
impossible, but difficult.

Yeah, yeah. Bill Gates is really afraid of a hobby. Ooo...watch. muLinux
is crushing Microsoft. Oh no!

"Probably", is the correct word. However, it is untrue. In other words I
discovered the site by reading documentation from www.linuxdoc.org. Yes,
that's right, I wanted to learn, and I read about it. It pointed me to
this site. How would **you** know **when** I dicovered the site?? Well, I
wouldn't have said anything, because I recall that there was no FAQ when I
first discovered muLinux. Being a bit presumptous, aren't you??

Why must you all be so arrogant that you would assume the worst in a person?
