Xvnc is started by my rustic script called "vnc" (it is
/usr/vnc/bin/vnc). This script is called by setup/xvnc at user request,
or via /etc/inittab, if you choose to start vnc at boot.
Try "vnc -h". This script acts as frontend to the vncclient and to
vncserver:
# vnc start/stop (start and stop the SERVER)
# vnc host:display (connect to another Xvnc server, on
the <host> and <display>
If used in "client mode" it is able to know if X is running: in this
case it call the command "vncviewer", otherwise the "svncviewer",
i.e. the svgalib viewer.
