fdisk -l work under DOS? Good. But how to identify, with a batch
script in DOS, the *current* hard-disk? I've no other idea other that
to check the partition dimension, or the partition free disk space.

After boot, scanning in muLinux the partition-list, a match
can be easy found.

In addition, I need a DOS command which filter the output of
"dir" command and produce a row like "free=129413734", to
add in loadling.cfg as kernel parameter.

I'd like to conclude with a positive statement, but I can't
remember any. Would two negative ones do? -- Woody Allen
