I totally agree with you about CDROM, as nice device. But you also
expect I send around internet my old RH4.1 archives?!

I like the CDROM way, because I like to experiment with some new
machinery and script, but to compile a CDROM with old and bugged
software is out of my intention!

I can do some attempt in cloning the ram muLinux over a CDROM,
but to fit enterely the CDROM is up to you, mon ami :-)))

650 Mb!!

Anycase, your are probably right: if more space appair, maybe
some volounter fill it, in the future.

I'm doing some strange test. I burned a CDROM with the root of
mulinux, ext2 not compressed. Is very impressive to see Linux boot
and mount the root from CDROM, read-only!
The little baby wasn't be able to create the /proc directory,
but boot finished right.

Anyone know why El Torrito requires an entery 1.44 floppy for
boot sector? Why 512 byte are not enough? mah.
