ASPI Driver Installation for ITI/Symbios

Please follow the following procedure for the installation
of the Symbios/ITI aspi driver .

Place the floppy labelled "Symbios Aspi Driver For NT" into 
the floppy drive. Copy "wnaspi32.dll" to the \winnt\system32 
directory. Copy "aspixnt.sys" to the \winnt\system32\drivers directory
Open a MSDOS box and type the following:

         c:\winnt\system32\regedt32
         click onto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
         Click onto Edit
         Add Key    
         For Key name type "AspiXNT"   and then click "OK"
         Click onto Edit
         Add Value
         For  Value Name type "DeviceDescription" and set data type 
              to "REG_SZ" and  
         click onto "OK"
         For string type "ASPI Extensions for NT" and then click onto "OK"
         Click onto Edit
         Add Value
         For Value Name type "ErrorControl" and set data type to "REG_DWORD" 
               and "OK"
         For string type "1" and click onto "OK"
         Click onto Edit
         Add Value
         For Value Name type "Start" and set data type to "REG_DWORD" and 
               click onto "OK"
         For string type  "2" and click "OK"
         Click onto Edit
         Add Value
         For Value Name type "Type" and set data type to "REG_DWORD" and click 
               onto "OK"
         For string type "1"
         Then click onto "Registry" "Exit"

Reboot the system and the Aspi driver will automatically start.
