Eon/Eiffel A Shareware Eiffel Compiler WARNING! This is the first beta test release of Eon/Eiffel and should be used with that in mind. Problems and omissions are listed in the RELNOTES file. If you have not come across Eiffel before it is an Object Oriented Language designed by Bertrand Meyer. It's objective is to allow large, high quality applications to be developed and maintained. Eon/Eiffel is available as a shareware product on MSDOS and Linux and as a commercial product on other Unix systems. If you do not have any Eiffel experience you will require a tutorial book. Such books are listed in the distribution documentation. There is no tutorial included. Eon/Eiffel produces C++ as an intermediate code, so you will need a C++ compiler.
